关于举行第六届浙江大学青年化学家论坛的通知
浙江大学化学系历史悠久，源远流长。经过百余年的的演变和奋斗，浙江大学化学系已发展成为综合实力雄厚、在我国具有重要影响的化学教学和研究机构。目前浙江大学化学系制度民主，求贤若渴，欢迎海内外有理想的青年才俊来浙大化学系参加学术交流；同时，浙大化学系也欢迎广大青年化学家加入并实现自己的梦想，并努力为这些青年才俊提供实现梦想的平台。
第六届浙江大学青年化学家论坛将于2018年12月29日到30日在浙江大学（杭州）举行。本次论坛的主题包括：
（1）材料化学
（2）有机合成
（3）化学生物学
（4）催化与表界面化学
（5）生命分析化学与材料分析化学
（6）其它前沿化学领域
申请人需已获得或将于2018年获得化学或相关学科博士学位。组委会将从申请人中遴选10-15人来杭赴会。浙江大学化学系将为参会者提供往返国际旅费（不超过1500美元，经济舱）以及杭州当地食宿费用。申请材料需包括个人简历(包含已发表论文目录）、3-5篇代表性论文（pdf文件），并请于11月15日之前提交给张维娅老师（E-mail: zhangweiya@zju.edu.cn）。

It is our sincere pleasure to invite you to Hangzhou to attend the 6thYoung Chemists Forum, which will be held at Zhejiang University from December 29thto December 30th, 2018. The attendees should hold a Ph.D. (or, expecting a Ph.D. degree in 2018) in the field of chemistry or related fields. About 10-15 young scientists will be selected from the candidates. For each attendee, Department of Chemistry of Zhejiang University will cover the travel expense (up to $1500 USD, economy class airfare), as well as local accommodations and meals in Hangzhou.
The main topics of the Forum include: (1) materials chemistry, (2) organic synthesis, (3) chemical biology, (4) catalysis and interface chemistry, (5) analytical chemistry for life and materials science, and (6) other frontiers of chemistry.
In order to attend the forum, all the applicants are asked to submit the following application materials before November 15th, 2018, to Ms Weiya Zhang (email: zhangweiya@zju.edu.cn). The application materials include CV (publication list should be included) as well as three to five representative papers.
