报告人：车晔博士 (National Institutes of Health, National Heart, Lung and Blood Institute)报告时间：3月 5 日（星期一）下午2：00报告地点：玉泉校区教八-107 Abstract： A fundamental challenge that arises throughout biomedicine is the need to establish the relation among diseases, physiological processes, and the action of small-molecule therapeutics. My research has focused on using computing and synthesis to explore fundamental problems in recognition and catalysis inspired by the biological world. During the last few years, I have designed and developed a series of innovative small molecules capable of mimicking protein surfaces recognized by other macromolecules, transition states of enzymatic reactions, and active sites of native enzymes.
